In-person locating vs. telemarketing… what is the difference?
See this post on different types of locating companies for more information!
How does your company work exactly?
The first step is that you fill out a work order online, or call us and talk to us about your job in person. Someone from our company will call you to discuss the details. After the details are worked out, we will send you a contract that explains exactly what you will be getting and our obligations that we promise to fulfill to our customers. After looking over the contract and authorizing it, then your job will be scheduled. We will let you know when to expect us.
Usually, we can be out to your location within a couple weeks to place your machines for you. Larger orders take priority, and scheduling also depends on how busy we are at any given time.
We do require that a deposit be paid upfront in order to schedule your order. The rest of the payment will be due upon satisfactory completion of the job.
That’s how easy it is! If you have any further questions about the process, please contact us!
Do you do telemarketing?
No, we do not do telemarketing. In our experience, it is not as effective as locating in person. As you will see, our prices are similar to companies that will do telemarketing for your locations, but we provide so much more.
Can’t I locate my own machines?
Yes, you can locate your own machines. We recommend that you try this also. There are several ways to go about doing this, and more information on locating your machines can be found in the resources section of this website.
However, many vendors, both beginners and veterans alike, decide to hire a locating company. Why is this? The fact of the matter is that we specialize in doing this every day, and we can get the job done so much faster. That means more time that your machines will be on location, earning money for you. In many cases, it is actually cheaper to use a vending locating company than to do the job yourself because it takes so much less time, effort and aggravation. Our job is to help you succeed more quickly and more easily in the vending business.
Can you guarantee income? ‘xyz’ competitor does…
We do not guarantee a certain amount of income per location. This is essentially impossible to do. You may find companies that will say they guarantee a certain income, but chances are, they do not plan on honoring their contract. Many locating companies are fly-by-night operations. Make sure you do your homework. If you do not like a location for whatever reason, you do not have to accept it from us in the beginning. But we have found that some of the best locations are in places you would never expect to be very good, and vice versa. How much will I make per location?
The amount of income you will make per location will vary greatly based on the type of vending machine you have in that location, and the location itself. If you have been in the business for awhile, you probably know what you can expect to make from the machines you have on average. If you are new to the business, we suggest that you check out our Resources section, which has more information on this topic. Will you transport and put in the machines for me?
We do not have the resources to transport and install your vending machines for you, locating companies generally do not provide this service due to the liability involved with transporting customers’ equipment. Also, you will want to put the machines in yourself so you will be able to meet the location owners and allow them to meet you and feel comfortable with you. You are the one who will be servicing the machine, and it will be a lot better for your business if you meet the location owner when you are installing the machine. Most of our customers will go around with us and put the machines in as the locations are approved. This is the best way to meet the location owners and to make sure they don’t change their mind about allowing you to place the machine in a location.
What happens if the machine gets rejected by the location owner?
Machines that are rejected within 30 days of being placed are covered under our full replacement warranty. Please contact us for more information or a copy of the warranty contract. What size jobs do you handle?
We can handle small jobs, as well as big ones. We have built new routes with hundreds of locations, all within a few short weeks. For bulk candy machines, we have a minimum order of 20 locations.Should I work with a charity?
For bulk candy machines, we suggest working with a charity. If you are not sure how this works, please read this article in our resources section.I am getting started in the business, what type of machines would you recommend?
In our experience, bulk candy machines are the easiest to get started with. They are fairly inexpensive, do not have to be serviced as often, and have a great return on investment.
